Velixo for Excel 2010 and later vs Excel 365 compatibility

Problem:
I have an older version of Excel and we are not ready to upgrade. Are we still able to purchase Velixo Reports?
Solution:
Velixo Reports works with Excel 2010 and later. The main advantage of Excel 365 is the native support of Dynamic Arrays which allow for a single function to return multiple, variable values.

Microsoft's stance is that "Legacy array formulas entered via CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER (CSE) are still supported for back compatibility reasons, but should no longer be used".


Velixo Reports (which utilizes 365's Dynamic Arrays) includes support for older (non-array-supporting) version of Excel through the use of legacy arrays. When using a Velixo Function in a non-365 environment, the screen has a slight pause as Excel fills in the cells being populated by the legacy function. Excel 365 does not have that pause.


Excel 365 includes additional functions (SORT, XLOOKUP, FILTER, UNIQUE, etc.) that are not available in older versions of Excel. These functions make creating reports easier, but are certainly not required.
