Velixo Report no longer working and NX Installation Requested from side panel
Issue / Symptoms
- Your Velixo report has suddenly stopped working and it has been working previously.
- There
may also be a case where it is asking you for permission to install a
new Addin called Velixo NX. This will show up in the side panel.
- The report is full of #N/A when it wasn't previously
- My
report now displays a side panel called Velixo NX when previoulsy it
was all accessed through the Velixo tab at the top of the screen
Solution - Remove NX and Refresh
1.
If you have the Velixo Nx (Vx) on the RHS of your Home ribbon in Excel,
right click and delete it – that gets it out of the ribbon.
2. Clean the addin from the Excel Report by going to File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document
Clicking
Inspect document will leave you with a screen and you can then click
“Inspect” at the bottom. It will pass through the Excel file and the
final item is that there will be a task pane addin, click and remove it.
Once this has been done succesfully, you will get the message below:
Save the file and reopen it and Velixo classic will take over again.
If something still doesn't look correct, try resetting the cache at the same time:
Once cleared, make sure you run a Refresh All
